Ingredients

  • 2 cups plain Greek yogurt 16 oz (454 g); whole milk or 2%
  • 1 tablespoon dried minced onion
  • 1 tablespoon dried parsley flakes
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried dill weed
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 to 2 tablespoons milk optional, to thin

Method

  1. Wash your hands with soap and water.
  2. In a medium bowl, stir the yogurt, dried onion, parsley, dill, garlic powder, pepper and salt until smooth.
  3. Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes so the dried onion and herbs soften.
  4. Stir before serving. If the dip is too thick, stir in milk 1 tablespoon at a time.
  5. Serve with raw vegetables such as carrot and celery sticks, cauliflower, jicama, bell pepper or cucumber.
